12 injured by queue-jumper at city petrol station

Twelve people were injured when a BMW M5 car crashed into a KFC store at a petrol station on Sukhumvit 62 Road in Bangkok's Phra Kahong district on Saturday night.
The accident occurred at a Bangchak retail outlet about 8.15pm on Saturday.
Police said the BMW was waiting in a queue when the driver suddenly accelerated forward, overtaking the other cars and attempting to make a U-turn to reach a vacant pump.
The car instead smashed into a KFC outlet, hitting customers, deliverymen and store employees.
The car driver was identified as Chen Zhen, 36. He was among the 12 injured people. Also hurt were four KFC employees, two deliverymen and five customers. One of the deliveryman was squashed up against a dining table.
Police said all injuries were minor and were treated at three local hospitals. No other details of the driver were released by police.
