Police stop gang fight on Pattaya’s Walking Street

Police arrested nine migrant workers and broke up a developing armed brawl involving about 20 migrant workers on Walking Street late on Sunday night.
Police were informed of the gathering and likely gang street fight outside Siam Bayshore Resort and arrived to head it off about 11.46pm.
The rival gangs ran through the crowd to parked motorcycles and fled the scene.
Police arrested nine of them before they could escape. They included two Myanmar and three Karen people. Police also seized two knives from the migrants.
