A pickleball playground has been launched at Square A in front of CentralWorld, allowing city people to enjoy this popular sport in the heart of Bangkok.
The playground is a highlight of Summer Fest: CentralWorld The Summer Club 2026, which brings together sport, art, music and fashion to create a vibrant community space for Bangkok's summer season until May 10.
Pickleball is a hybrid sport that combines elements of tennis, table tennis and badminton. It's one of the fastest-growing sports globally and popular among Gen Z population and urban audiences who view exercise as a social experience and a way to build connections.
Created as a festive space and community hub for summer in the heart of Bangkok, this pickleball playground features a standard-sized court with stands open to everyone to enjoy for free.
Those interested can book their playing time via the Central X app. The playground is open daily from 10am to 10pm, with three 60-minute professional match sessions available from 4pm to 7pm. One person is allowed to book playing time for one session per day only.
This campaign also features colourful and energetic city designs by Thai illustrator Prang Vipaluk, who creates a summer visual experience that blends art, lifestyle and fun throughout the entire space of CentralWorld. Also, the building's facade is decorated with vibrant and colourful graphics, transforming the entire area into a summer photo spot and a new landmark for photography.
Expect to enjoy wellness activities, workshops, music sessions and brunch gatherings throughout this campaign. Exclusively from April 11-26, prepare to get updated with the summer collections from leading brands and indulge with refreshing summer dishes and exquisite desserts with special ingredients from seasonal fruits at participating restaurants within CentralWorld.
