Quality surplus fabrics have been transformed into meaningful fashion pieces that will take centre stage during "Re-Life Fabric: BU x Jaspal Group Sustainable Collaboration 2026", at Atrium 2, ground floor of Siam Center, Rama I Road, from tomorrow to Friday.

The exhibition is a creative project that invites third-year fashion design students from Bangkok University to explore the creative potential of surplus fabrics from Jaspal Group's production process and transform them into creative bag designs.

As part of the Fashion Management & Entrepreneurship course, the students gain hands-on experience working with a real fashion brand, while learning to design within material constraints and develop a deeper understanding of sustainable design.

The exhibition presents the concept of "Seasons Of Remnant", tracing the journey of quality surplus fabrics as they are reimagined through the cycle of seasons. Once overlooked, these materials are rediscovered, reinterpreted and brought back to life as creative bag designs that merge art, fashion and function.

A total of 23 bag designs by eight student groups will be showcased, with inspiration drawn from the essence of four seasons -- "Spring: Rebirth", symbolising a fresh beginning; "Summer: Energy", expressing colour, boldness and creative experimentation; "Autumn: Transformation", representing the shift of materials into new forms and meanings and "Winter: Reflection", a moment to reconsider the true value of materials before they are carried forward into a new creative journey.
