Feel the chill

Though Thailand isn’t known for its winter months, you can still be chill. Guru By Bangkok Post has a list of the latest fashion collections for the autumn and winter months, which are wearable no matter where in the world you are.

Sretsis

Sretsis recently launched its Autumn Winter 2026 collection called “Sretsis Himmapan”, with a salon-style presentation at its flagship store, Sretsis Inn Bangkok.

In a nod to the intimate couture parlours of Paris, models moved through the store in numbered looks, inviting guests to experience the collection up close. “Sretsis Himmapan” was where the mythological landscape of Thailand’s legendary Himmapan Forest was reinterpreted through the Sretsis lens of fantasy and femininity. For Sretsis creative director, Pim Sukhahuta, the presentation explored the contrast between traditional Thai folklore and the refined world of Parisian couture salons, marking the first fashion presentation at Sretsis Inn Bangkok.

“Sretsis Himmapan” unfolded over three chapters: "Intro to Sretsis Himmapan", "Mythical Creatures" and "Garden Of The Night’. Together, a contemporary fairy tale was woven into a story, transporting the symbolism of Himmapan into a world of intricate craft, beauty and fantasy. The leading Queen Rosa, in the first chapter, has pink tipped yellow petals, inspired by “Rosa Queen Sirikit”, a beautiful rose named in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother. The collection continues Sretsis’ exploration of alternative materials through vegan leather crafted from apple peel fibres, finished with a glossy patent effect and exceptionally soft feel.

In Mythical Creatures, where the season’s signature print brings together imaginary flora and= fantastical creatures. Flowers gather around the Manil Pegacorn, a creature born from the Sretsis’ pegacorn and inspiration drawn from the Manilmangkorn, the horse and dragon hybrid of Thai mythology. Echoing the intricate beauty of Thai temple tiles and the flowing elegance of Art Nouveau, the print captures the meeting of Thai visual culture and the Sretsis imagination.

The season’s signature leopard motif takes inspiration from the Ruesi or hermit sage of Thai literature. Reimagined across cotton velveteen to capture the texture and depth of leopard fur while remaining cruelty-free, the motif appears across the Blue Leopard Jacket and Mini Skirt, Dao Dara Jacket, Dancing Rosa Blouse and distressed Leopard Patchwork Jeans, bringing an instinctive rock-and-roll spirit to the fantasy. The season’s Mon Rose Faux Fur Coats complete the story, ushering in the season with a sense of glamour and playful extravagance.

The house’s beloved Garden Of Nostalgia Brocade evokes a field of multicoloured roses. Beginning this chapter is the Kinnaree Brocade Mini Dress, where the faux fur sleeves evoke the sensation of sprouting wings. The Kanda Tunic Blouse and Brocade Pants pair a soft baby-doll silhouette with sequined rose-embroidered tulle accompanied by the Kinnaree Brocade Headband.

The collection brought together delicate lace, chiffon and shimmering brocade with contrasting leopard prints, glossy leather and denim, blending romance with a rock-and-roll spirit. It intertwined Art Nouveau and modern romance, also brought to life through handcrafted floral headpieces and accessories to complete this contemporary world of fantasy and imagination. The evening also marked Sretsis’ 24th anniversary.

Cos

Cos returned to the runway, unveiling its Autumn Winter 2026 collection in its fifth consecutive show at New York Fashion Week. Precision tailoring and tactile fabrications bring a quiet sense of sophistication, while nuanced references to 1920s glamour inform the collection's texture, drape and sartorial expression. The result is a collection that feels modern, elevated and enduring.

Across 47 looks, the collection explores a considered palette of cool greys, black and navy, punctuated by soft brown undertones and light neutrals, bringing warmth and dimension. Rich purple accents create an unexpected contrast, adding vibrancy and depth to the season’s muted tones.

Creating a thoughtful dialogue between past and present, classic designs are reinvented through a continued focus on craftsmanship and materiality. Double-faced cashmere creates an enveloping wrap silhouette, explored through statement maxi lengths, cinched waists and collar details. Delicate floral embroidery and fringing bring dimension and femininity. Leather takes shape in both artisanal raw-cut constructions and classic silhouettes, while heritage-inspired herringbone weaves underscore the collection’s refined point of view.

In womenswear, modern city dressing is expressed through timeless signatures designed to move seamlessly from day to night. Elongated outerwear serves as an elevated wardrobe foundation, with coats that anchor looks through effortless versatility. At the collection’s core, classic tailoring is reimagined through sculptural silhouettes, considered construction and coordinated separates, creating a sense of understated uniformity. Elegantly draped dresses are rooted in fluidity and ease, featuring 1920s-inspired dropped waists, irregular hems and a nuanced interplay of tactility and transparency, while supple leather bags and loafers complete the looks.

A sartorial sensibility continues throughout the menswear collection, where outerwear and tailoring are distinguished by double-breasted closures and shoulder epaulettes. Coordinated tailoring is grounded by timeless wardrobe icons, from signature shirting to half-zip knitwear. Relaxed proportions shape the silhouette, while trousers are offered in slim and wide-leg cuts. Tonal ties, Derby shoes and loafers create a refined finishing touch.

Loro Piana

Loro Piana presents its Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 Collection, inspired by the idea of a train journey through changing landscapes and seasons.

Titled “Nomadic Reverie”, both menswear and womenswear capture the memories and sensations gathered along the way, translating them into layered proportions and an effortless sense of movement. Across the collection, Maison’s iconic paisley motifs take centre stage alongside intricate embroidery and jacquard weaving, while signature fabrics such as Baby Cashmere and The Gift of Kings highlight Loro Piana's exceptional savoir-faire.

The Autumn/Winter 2026-2027 Collection also introduces a renewed focus on the Rovasenda Jacket, reimagined with detachable sleeves for city life and travel, while accessories such as the Extra Softy Bag L29, Needle Shopper and Heddle Tote complete the seasonal narrative with an array of materials and colours. Eveningwear rounds out the collection with refined tailoring, sculptural silhouettes, and understated elegance that reflect Loro Piana's timeless approach to luxury.

Fendi

At the launch of the first Autumn/Winter 2026-27 Collection by Maria Grazia Chiuri at the Iconsiam boutique, the brand presented the Baguette 26424 Re-Edition that drew inspiration from the Fendi archive. Available in limited quantity, each Baguette features a unique Re-Edition metal tag and will come in a special custom wooden box, reminiscent of art crates, fastened with a yellow canvas belt and metal logo buckle. In addition, the collection preview showcased a curated selection of ready-to-wear, accessories, shoes and fur masterpieces, a testament to Maison’s exceptional savoir-faire.

In her first Couture collection for Fendi, Chiuri lays, as its subject, that desire our bodies are made of. Not just clothes, therefore, but design strategies that give value back to those bodies, as living substance, as a complexity of feelings, intentions, attitudes.

The collection brings together sensuality, eroticism, freedom and pleasure, inspired by Histoire d’eau (1977), the fashion film commissioned by Karl Lagerfeld for Fendi’s first Ready-to-Wear collection. Chiuri’s designs indulge the body through fluid silhouettes that move naturally, while showcasing the expertise of Fendi’s ateliers through techniques including drapery, chiffon, leather, and fur. Bringing together creativity and craftsmanship, the collection reaffirms Couture as a space for sartorial experimentation, where tradition and innovation continue to evolve together.

Saint Laurent

Saint Laurent unveils its Autumn 2026 collection through the interplay of sharp tailoring and the sensuality of materials and silhouettes. Lace in vibrant hues is juxtaposed with leather and layered styling, creating depth and dimension across each look.

The collection is complemented by key pieces including the Niki Soft Medium and the LE 5 À 7 Maxi Hobo in grained leather, distinguished by its signature Cassandre hook closure. Together, these elements embody a refined sense of luxury that remains understated while preserving an appreciation for intricate details.

The interplay of light, shadow and movement, alongside open spaces and uncluttered compositions, allows the clothing, personalities and emotions of each subject to come through with ease. The imagery embraces an uncontrived sense of elegance that feels effortless rather than deliberate, while retaining the sharpness, chic attitude and sensuality that define Saint Laurent.

Celine

Celine presents its Winter 2026 collection, “Celine Hiver 2026” held at Institut de France in the heart of Paris.

The collection explores the fusion of old and new, creating a timeless wardrobe that prioritises personal taste over fleeting trends. The narrative unfolds through silhouettes that are simple yet clearly structured, brought to life through carefully curated color palettes, striking textural contrasts, intentional proportions, and bold accessory styling. Elements such as leopard prints, monochrome palettes, and vibrant colors are juxtaposed with the brand’s classic tones — black, navy, ivory and white — adding greater depth and dimension to the collection.
