Get your pasta passport for 'The Taste Of Italy'

The Embassy of Italy invites lovers of Italian cuisine to enjoy their favourite dishes and earn prizes during “Taste Of Italy Passport: Discover. Taste. Collect. Unlock”, which will take place throughout November.

Held to mark the upcoming Week Of Italian Cuisine In The World from Nov 16-20, the new initiative gives Bangkok diners an opportunity to discover the flavours, ingredients and traditions of the Italian cuisine as a selection of 29 Italian restaurants that have worked with the embassy on previous initiatives will offer special dishes or menus on exclusive terms.

To attend this initiative, participants are required to download the Taste Of Italy Passport from the embassy’s website or to pick it up at the participating restaurants. They can choose a dish or menu featured in the initiative and ask the restaurant for a stamp.

Each new dining experience adds another stamp to participants’ collection. The more restaurants they visit, the more stamps they could collect and the more prizes they could earn. A total of 250 prizes are available, including complimentary and discounted vouchers for hotel stays and dining.

Prizes are divided into seven categories according to their value and can be claimed once participants have collected the required number of stamps. Once they reach one of the stamp thresholds, they can present their passport at the Italian embassy and choose a prize from the category they have reached.
