ONE Championship is entering a new phase with its weekly Lumpinee Stadium product.

From this Friday’s ONE Friday Fights 147 card, the promotion will open global access to its paid Inner Circle Superfan Club subscription service, placing the first five bouts of each event behind a paywall for fans in more than 195 countries.

The move is not entirely out of nowhere.

ONE had already introduced the model in Thailand last month, appearing to use the domestic rollout as a test run before taking it worldwide – a cautious step, perhaps, after the technical issues that have affected some of the organisation’s premium streams in the past.

Now the wider launch begins with one of the strongest Friday Fights cards of the year.

The paid early segment runs from 6.30pm to 8.30pm ICT and, rather than being filled with developmental bouts, will open with genuine marquee value.

Reigning ONE bantamweight Muay Thai champion Nabil Anane will defend his title against Rambolek Chor Ajalaboon in the featured bout of the Inner Circle portion of the card.

Also slotted into the early block are Seksan Or Kwanmuang against Pakorn PK Saenchai, and Thai fan favourite PTT Apichart Farm against short-notice replacement Arian Esparza, after Hamza Rachid was ruled out through injury earlier this week.

In other words, this is no soft launch.

ONE is asking fans to pay from the outset for meaningful fights, not undercard filler.

The rest of the event will continue under the promotion’s familiar free-to-air structure from 8.30pm ICT, with the main card available on ONE’s usual broadcast and digital platforms, geo-restrictions depending.

That latter portion is headlined by another world title fight, with former longtime bantamweight king Nong-O Hama meeting Asadula Imangazaliev for the vacant ONE flyweight Muay Thai belt.

It gives the card an obvious sense of scale – and makes Friday a significant night not just for the fighters involved, but for ONE’s broader business model.

For years, Friday Fights has built its audience on accessibility, particularly through free online distribution.

This changes that equation.

The promotion is still offering the back end of the show for free, depending on broadcast deals in each region, but the opening stretch has now become premium content.

Starting with Nabil, Seksan and a notably strong early slate, ONE is giving fans plenty of reason to sample the new model on launch night.
