The Thai League 1 title could be decided this weekend when defending champions Buriram United visit Ratchaburi on Saturday.
T1 clubs resume their league duties after an international break, which saw Thailand edge Turkmenistan in a 2-1 thriller to seal their berth at the AFC Asian Cup 2027 in Saudi Arabia next year.
An away victory for the league leaders Buriram against the Dragons will see the Thunder Castle move to 65 points, and mathematically they cannot be caught by any of their title rivals.
Second-placed Port can only achieve a maximum of 62 points, while a home defeat today will end Ratchaburi's title hopes. Fourth-placed Bangkok United, who were to play Sukhothai on Friday night, can only accumulate a maximum of 63 points.
Buriram have no injury worries with all their star players such as forward Supachai Chaided and defender Theerathon Bunmathan coming back from their Thailand duties unscathed.
Ratchaburi also welcome back their Thailand stars -- midfielder Thanawat Suengchitthawon and goalkeeper Kampon Pathomakkakul -- with both players ready to start Saturday's game.
Buriram have won their last five league games and will be favourites to wrap up the title this weekend, although the Dragons will be a tough nut to crack at their home ground.
The match will kick off at 7pm.
In other games on Saturday, Port host PT Prachuap, while BG Pathum United visit Kanchanaburi Power.
Relegation strugglers Muang Thong United host Chiang Rai on Sunday, hoping to pick up three points at home, while the Beetles also eye a win to go beyond the 30-point mark, which will ensure their survival.
Also on Sunday, Lamphun host Ayutthaya, Chonburi face Rayong and Uthai Thani visit bottom-placed side Nakhon Ratchasima.
