Infection control improved for Princess Bajrakitiyabha Narendiradebyavati and her blood pressure was stable, the Royal Household Bureau announced on Sunday.
The bureau quoted royal doctors as reporting that overall infection control had improved and the blood pressure of the princess was stable after they stopped administering medications to raise her blood pressure.
Royal doctors continued to administer antibiotics to control infection and use equipment to support the function of her lungs and kidneys while monitoring her condition closely. Sunday’s announcement also recalled her severe blood infection on Aug 9.
The statement was the sixth update on her condition since she passed out while training her pet dog in Pak Chong district in Nakhon Ratchasima province on Dec 14, 2022. She has been receiving medical treatment at King Chulalongkorn Memorial Hospital in Bangkok since Dec 15 that year.
Princess Bajrakitiyabha, 46, is the eldest daughter of His Majesty the King and Her Royal Highness Princess Soamsawali Krom Muen Suddhanarinatha.
