Bangkok's City Hall reports flooding on about 10 roads

The Drainage and Sewerage Department of the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) reported flooding on about 10 roads in the capital on Wednesday morning, with water levels ranging from seven to 20 centimetres.

Most of the affected roads had about 20cm of floodwater:

  • Ram Intra 5 Road
  • Theparak Rd, near the Big C Saphan Mai store
  • Nawamin 38 Rd
  • Nawamin Rd, at the Bang Kapi intersection and near Lat Phrao police station
  • Ramkhamhaeng 43 Rd
  • Luang Phaeng Rd, near the Lotus’s Lat Krabang store
  • Chao Khun Thahan Rd
  • Suwinthawong Rd
  • On Nut 59 Rd
  • Srinagarindra Road, near Kamphaeng Phet 7 Rd

Floodwater measured 15cm on Siha Buranukit 14 Rd; 10cm on Lat Krabang 30/1 Rd, Chao Khun Thahan (ICD1) Rd and Pattanakan 53 Rd; and 7.5cm on Pattanakan Rd, at its intersection with Srinagarindra Rd.
