On April 1, 2026, River City Bangkok unveiled A Constellation In Bloom — a luminous celebration marking the debut of Rak Rayaa, a striking lighting sculpture revealed for the first time in over a decade.
This exceptional project is born from a collaboration between River City Bangkok and SARRAN, Thailand’s leading art-to-wear jewellery house renowned for crafting unforgettable designs for global icons such as Alicia Keys and LISA. Rooted in narratives that transcend mere ornamentation, SARRAN’s creations embody the timeless allure of Thai heritage. This same sensibility has been intricately woven into the design of the lighting sculpture, allowing it to echo the artistic spirit and cultural atmosphere that define River City Bangkok with poetic subtlety.
The evening unfolded as a multi-sensory experience, with a series of bespoke performances curated exclusively for distinguished guests. Highlights included a live musical performance by the College of Music, Mahidol University; a contemporary dance presentation by Performance Project: 1 to 8 Archive unveiling the sculpture; and a captivating vocal performance by Gam Wichayanee, who brought emotional depth to Somewhere Only We Know.
A standout moment of the night was the exclusive fashion show introducing SARRAN’s latest collection, “The Ambassador Returns to Siam”. The runway was graced by an array of celebrated figures, including Mick Thongraya, Choi Seung Ho, and Opal Suchata.
Bringing together a rich tapestry of creative disciplines — from fashion and architecture to music and performance — the event offered an immersive artistic journey that engaged and delighted its guests on every level.
