Singha R-SA & rescue networks expand flood relief across Bangkok, Rayong & Prachin Buri

Singha R-SA has continued providing assistance to flood victims for the fifth consecutive day, deploying teams across several areas of Bangkok and working with rescue networks to evacuate residents in Rayong and Prachin Buri provinces.

The flood situation in Bangkok has begun to ease in some areas. However, several locations — particularly in the eastern part of the city — remain inundated, with a large number of residents affected.

Singha R-SA, together with the Narenthorn Emergency Medical Centre at Rajavithi Hospital, Thitikarn Ambulance Network, students from Navamindradhiraj University’s Disaster Management programme and student volunteers from King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, continued deploying teams to affected areas. They distributed more than 1,000 packs of drinking water and ready-to-eat meals (retort rice) to residents in the Rom Klao Housing Community, Lat Krabang, an evacuation shelter in the Phatthanakan area and the Bangkok Kreetha Sports Village, helping ease hardship and provide essential supplies to those affected by the floods.

Meanwhile, Singha R-SA’s rescue network teams were deployed in Prachin Buri province. The Sawang Nakhon Nan Ruamjai Association and Ang Thong Provincial Rescue Association helped evacuate children, elderly people and bedridden patients to safe areas. In Rayong province, Singha R-SA worked with the Buddhatham Sawang Samakkhi Association, Phong Lai Koh 35 Sakon Nakhon, Trat Buddhist Welfare Association and Ruenjit Asa Foundation in Khong district, Nakhon Ratchasima, to urgently evacuate residents stranded in three communities: Sam Yaek Prasae Community, Pa Tien Community and Sin Sanguan Community. Residents were transported to an evacuation centre in tambon Thung Khwai Kin, Klaeng district, Rayong.

Singha R-SA and its rescue networks continue to closely monitor the situation and coordinate assistance in affected areas, working to alleviate hardship until conditions return to normal.
