"My Dearest Assassin", Netflix Thailand’s first-ever action romantic drama film, has unveiled its first look — introducing a story of vengeance, survival and a love worth fighting for.

The film follows Lhan, a young woman born with a rare and extraordinary blood type, who has been relentlessly hunted since childhood by a ruthless hunter, who murdered her parents. Rescued and given refuge within a household of professional assassins, Lhan grows up surrounded by friendship, love and family she never thought possible.

But when her sworn enemy tracks her down once more — determined to claim her blood — Lhan decides she’s done running. Standing alongside the person she loves, she is finally ready to fight for her freedom.

Helmed by director Taweewat Wantha, My Dearest Assassin pairs pulse-pounding action with a deeply emotional romance, giving the film a distinct and compelling identity.

Leading the cast is Pimchanok "Baifern" Luevisadpaibul as Lhan, a woman marked by her “special” blood who refuses to surrender to fate. Despite losing her loved ones one after another, she still stands firm to fight alongside Pran, heir to the assassin household known as House 89.

Played by Thanapob "Tor" Leeratanakachorn, Pran is above all a guardian willing to sacrifice everything for his family and the woman he loves. Rounding out the trio is Sivakorn "Porsche" Adulsuttikul as M, an orphan raised within House 89 who grew up alongside Pran and Lhan. Steadfast and loyal, M withstands on every battlefield, for the family and friendships he holds most dear.

The cast also includes Toni Rakkaen as Pruek, a merciless hunter of rare targets, who will stop at nothing to get what he sets his eyes on. Lhan is the one target who has ever slipped through his grasp and Pruek is ready to turn the world upside down to find her and claim her blood.

Chartayodom "Chai" Hiranyasthiti plays Poh, the supreme commander of House 89 and Pran’s formidable father, the man who once saved Lhan, brought her into his fold and made her one of his own.

Get ready for a blood-for-freedom wager on My Dearest Assassin, coming to Netflix on May 7.
