Thai actor and singer Putthipong “Billkin” Assaratanakul has graduated with a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from the University College London School of Management.
He received his degree at a ceremony held on May 20 at the Royal Festival Hall in London, attended by family and friends.
The graduation announcement prompted an outpouring of congratulations on social media, with fans praising his ability to balance a demanding entertainment career with graduate study abroad.
Billkin first studied marketing at Thammasat University’s Faculty of Commerce and Accountancy before building a prominent career in the Thai entertainment industry.
His breakthrough came when he starred alongside PP Krit in the 2020 boys’ love drama I Told Sunset About You.
He is best known internationally for his lead role in How to Make Millions Before Grandma Dies (2024), which became the highest-grossing Thai film that year and won the Audience Prize at the New York Asian Film Festival as well as the Best Actor prize from the Suphannahong National Film Awards.
