Pop Mart Thailand has unveiled its newest and largest global landmark store. The world’s largest flagship of the brand at Iconsiam.

Spanning more than 760m², the monumental space seamlessly blends Thai art and cultural heritage with contemporary aesthetics and whimsical fantasy. For the first time a Pop Mart Global Landmark Store is designed through the lens of Thai identity, expressed through three distinctive pillars: "Water Culture, Traditional Thai Architecture and Inclusiveness", encapsulated in the overarching theme “Light Up Passion And Bring Joy”.

The space is crafted using fluid curves and circular forms that evoke a sense of openness, movement and perpetual flow. Inspired by the Chao Phraya River, the design reflects the rich, harmonious diversity of Thai culture, brought to life through light, reflection and boundless continuity.

Pop Mart Iconsiam marks a new chapter in the global art toy experience, establishing what it calls the "Bestination", combining the “Best Location” with a “Global Destination”. The design draws deep inspiration from the lives and rhythms along the Chao Phraya River, resonating with generations past.

It also reflects behavioural insights from Pop Mart fans worldwide, translating their emotional engagement into spatial design with purpose. The store was conceptualised by the same creative team behind Pop Mart’s flagship in Shanghai.

More than collectables, Pop Mart characters are a gateway into realms of fantasy. The grand entrance captures this sentiment with a double-height design inspired by the classic blind box form. Every element evokes anticipation and curiosity. Iconic large figures, including Thai artist-designed Crybaby riding an elephant, Thailand’s beloved national animal, grace the space, beckoning visitors inside.

The facade is adorned with ornate vintage-style trims, a giant mechanical wind-up key and beaded curtains that add delicate movement. Drawing inspiration from classical art museum installations, the entrance becomes a stage set for imagination. Outside, a terrace facade balances translucency and sophistication, symbolising the boundary between the real world and the Pop Mart fantasy.

The space is also home to the monumental Molly: Thailand landmark store limited big figure, more than 4m-tall, inspired by artist Kenny Wong’s travels across Thailand. Dressed in traditional Chakri Thai attire atop an elephant, she is joined by a line-up of characters warmly greeting visitors. Nearby, purple and yellow seating complements the facade, creating a picturesque spot for guests to relax, unbox and enjoy the riverside ambiance.

The Pop Mart Global Landmark Store spans two expansive levels. Level 1 features a Mega Zone with towering Molly and The Monsters figures, offering Instagram-worthy photo spots. This area is dedicated to the joy of discovery through blind boxes and the beloved Pop Bean.

Design-wise, Level 1 celebrates the thrill of surprise. Circular and flowing forms dominate the layout, with seamless transitions across floors, walls and ceilings that mimic the continuous flow of water. Materials were shaped in China and assembled in Thailand. Thai artisans enhanced the spatial narrative through eye-guiding patterns that entice visitors to explore.

The store layout follows a closed-loop circulation, encouraging exploration of every corner without repetition. A spiral staircase and statement chandelier continue the store’s fluid motif, leading guests onward with visual grace.

For Pop Mart collectors, completing a set is more than a hobby. On Level 2, guests become players in a gamified world inspired by the geometry of the Rubik’s Cube. Drawing from the structure of Thailand’s historic Wat Arun pagoda, cube-like volumes are carefully arranged to evoke movement and order. The colour palette features vibrant dopamine hues, injecting energy and excitement into the space.

At the end of the journey lies a space for new stories to unfold — the Pop Mart Café, the first of its kind outside China. Inspired by fairy-tale classic paneling and sculpted walls, the café radiates sweetness and romance. The design intricately reflects Pop Mart’s IPs through artistic elements and contrasting tones. Soft whites paired with vibrant dopamine shades for a touch of refreshing elegance. The curated menu is co-created with Greyhound Café, with dishes inspired by character backstories, adding playful storytelling to each bite.

A VIP Zone is also available for exclusive moments. Designed with Enclosure Setting for privacy, it features soft luxury hues and classic décor elements. The zone is infused with a special fragrance, Cotton Berry, inspired by Labubu Macaron, a blend of cotton candy and wild berries, offering a pink-hued, nostalgic and sparkling sensory journey that rekindles childhood joy and wonder.
