A string of activities to promote environmental awareness are presented during "Nextopia Biodiversity Week 2026: Wild Wonders & Local Harvest", which is running at Nextopia, 5th floor of Siam Paragon, Rama I Road, until Sunday.
Held to mark the International Day for Biological Diversity which falls on May 22 each year, the festival features exhibitions, talks, workshops, immersive activities and culinary experiences, focusing on the interconnected relationship between nature, ecosystems, food systems, human health and quality of life.
Highlights include a series of forums on solutions for biodiversity preservation by distinguished international representative, academics, sustainability leaders and civil society organisations; a special workshop series to explore ecosystems through art, craft and science; and a nature photography exhibition by documentary photographer Chittiwat Pornprasert who will give a special talk session on Saturday at 2pm. Visitors will discover superfood products by health-focused producers, local farmers and quality dining brands during the Superfood Festival held to promote more conscious and sustainable consumption. Also, exclusive workshops are available for advance reservations made through the Onesiam SuperApp.
This is also a chance to enjoy specially curated superfood menus crafted by restaurants and cafés within Nextopia. Each menu reflects the concept of "Food For Wellness, Food For The Planet", connecting personal well-being with environmental sustainability through thoughtfully sourced natural ingredients, fruits, vegetables, grains and local produce.
Meanwhile, the Nextopia zone has been transformed into a Native Bee Botanical Garden where visitors can see, hear, smell, taste and interact with the fascinating world of Thailand's native bee species through the "No Bee, No Life" exhibition, which is running until May 31.
Also, visitors who spend 1,000 baht at Ecotopia will receive a limited-edition marine animal keychain created from recycled ocean-bound waste by Precious Plastic, until May 31. The promotion is to mark World Turtle Day on May 23.
