Culinary collab / Igniv Bangkok / Sept 18-20

Igniv Bangkok will host "The Return of Andreas Caminada” from Sept 18–20. From an intimate four-hands dinner and truffle lunch to a hands-on Igniv Circle masterclass, the lively return of Igniv Party and a special stay at The St. Regis Bangkok, chef Caminada will cook alongside newly appointed head chef Dominik Falk. For two evenings only, on Sept 18-19, chef Caminada joins chef Falk in the Igniv Bangkok kitchen for an exclusive four-hands dinner. The evenings also introduce restaurant manager and sommelier Christian Hotzas, the new culinary and front-of-house leaders of Igniv Bangkok.

Couture and cuisine / The Slate Phuket / Sept 18-19

The Slate Phuket continues its Bold series with "Madagascar Dreams: A Journey of Couture & Cuisine", a two-night celebration curated by internationally renowned designer Éric Raisina. Bringing the spirit of his Madagascan homeland to life, Raisina collaborates with The Slate's culinary team to create an exclusive multi-course dining experience using authentic Madagascan ingredients, paired with an intimate presentation of his latest couture collection. The event unfolds across two distinct evenings, offering guests two very different ways to experience Madagascar. On Sept 18 at Rivet, "The Culinary Journey: Discover Madagascar" delivers a refined, chef-led six-course tasting menu, before a couture runway, accompanied by strings, jazz and Afro-acoustic music. On Sept 19, the mood shifts to Coolies Club in Old Phuket Town for "The Celebration: Dance With Madagascar", a more immersive, energetic evening of Madagascan bar bites, sharing plates and street-food dishes, paired with signature cocktails.

Film series / TK Park / Sept 20

The 2026 Contemporary World Film Series is back at TK Park with a comedy from Hungary. "Szia, Életem!" (Be My Dad) tells the story of A burnt-out writer whose life is turned upside down when his never-before-seen son walks into his life. The screening is supported by the Embassy of Hungary and the National Film Institute of Hungary. The Hungarian ambassador Szilvia Szaloki will introduce the film and the embassy will host a reception after the screening. Email filmforum17@gmail.com for tickets. 

Best of series / Mia / Sept 18-20 

For three nights only, Sept 18, 19 and 20, Mia brings back the dishes guests never forgot. "Best Of Mia: The Signatures" is an eight-course retrospective drawn from seven years of the restaurant. The dishes that stayed with people long after they left the menu. The ones guests kept asking about. The menu spans 2019 to 2026, from Mia's oldest dish, the Apple tarte tatin with Borneo vanilla, to this year's Prawn yum with tomato gazpacho and pomelo. 

Cocktails, Tapas And Friends / St. Regis Bar Bangkok / Sept 20

The St. Regis Bar Bangkok welcomes guests to the September edition of Cocktails, Tapas and Friends on Sept 20 at The St. Regis Bar. Hosted by beverage manager, Brian Gonzalez, the September edition brings together Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur and Jakarta. Representing Kuala Lumpur is Three X Co and Jakarta is represented by Between The Sips.  Complementing the cocktail programme, executive chef Matteo Fontana of The St. Regis Bangkok joins chefAnthony Burd of Tony's Bangkok to present an unlimited tapas experience inspired by American-Italian flavours. 

Design competition / Le Méridien Bangkok

Le Méridien Bangkok invites creative students to reimagine the hotel’s uniforms through a design competition celebrating brand identity, elegance, practicality and confidence. Teams of two to three people should design uniforms in the following categories: Category 1: Front Office: Front Office uniform (Male), Front Office uniform (Female), Bellman uniform (Male); and Category 2: Food & Beverage: Restaurant service staff uniform (Male), Restaurant service staff uniform (Female), Latitude 13 service staff (Female). Apart from money, winning teams will also have the opportunity to host a fashion show at the Le Méridien Bangkok lobby and showcase their designs in a two-week fashion exhibition at the lobby. 

Wine dinner / Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok / Sept 18

Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok continues its run of wine evenings on Sept 18, when Ms.Jigger hosts "An Evening With Monte Zovo", a five-course Italian dinner built around five wines from one family-run winery in Veneto, northern Italy. Head chef Danilo Aiassa's menu will be shaped dish-by-dish for the wine beside it, while Matteo Cecchetto, Apac manager for Monte Zovo, guides guests through the pours, the vineyards and the generations behind them. Seats are limited.  

Lobster omakase / KiSara /  Sep 18

KiSara at the Conrad Bangkok will host “The Lobster Symphony” on Sept 18. The one-night dining experience presents a 10-course lobster omakase accompanied by five hand-selected sake pairings curated by Naoko Saito, sake specialist.

Coffee culture / Thailand Coffee Fest 2026 / Until Sept 13

You have until this Sunday to attend Thailand Coffee Fest 2026, Southeast Asia's biggest coffee fest. The fest is turning 11 and this year's theme is "Made By All Of Us" to convey that good coffee requires collective effort from growers, baristas, cafe owners and drinkers. There are five zones to explore from an exchange of coffee cultures from different countries at Coffee Around The World to talks and expert insights on trends in coffee industry at Coffee Stage to Coffee & More Village, which gathers 200 booths of roasters, cafes and more. Thailand Coffee Fest 2026 runs until Sept 13 at Impact Exhibition Center Hall. Free admission.

Weekday set lunch / Uno Mas / Until Sept 30

Uno Mas at Centara Grand at CentralWorld introduces a new "Menú del Día" for September, bringing a fresh selection of dishes to its popular Weekday Set Lunch. Available until Sept 30, the three-course menu begins with Aubergine stuffed with Spanish ratatouille or a Creamy potato salad with tuna belly in sunflower oil. For the main course, guests can enjoy Breaded pork fillet stuffed with ham and cheese or Pan-seared squid served with ajillo sauce and mixed salad. To finish, there is a choice of Strawberries and cream, fresh fruit, or coffee or tea.

Afternoon tea / Tea & Tipple

Tea & Tipple at Centara Grand at CentralWorld is serving Afternoon Tea Delights offering classic afternoon tea favourites to more contemporary bites. Freshly baked scones are served with jam and clotted cream, alongside smoked salmon mille-feuille with avocado, pan-seared foie gras on brioche, lobster rolls, and smoked turkey with Gruyère and cranberry. For something sweet, enjoy pistachio choux, orange cake and chocolate mille-feuille, together with delicate macarons and pralines. The lounge serves Pascucci coffee, Mariage Frères teas, whisky flights, cocktails and a selection of premium spirits.

New dishes / Scarlett Bangkok

From delicate quail and succulent duck to roasted poularde and the indulgent flavours of pigeon and foie gras, the special selection showcases a variety of poultry dishes, each thoughtfully prepared with seasonal ingredients and Scarlett’s signature culinary touch. The journey begins with the show-stopping Pithivier of pigeon, where pigeon, foie gras and smoked pork belly are paired with cabbage and a rich corsé jus. Other highlights include the elegant Quail tournedos with foie gras, the Apicius duck breast served with celeriac purée and saffron parsnip, and the comforting Marinated baby chicken with creamy polenta and green condiment. Completing the selection is the classic Poularde Albufera, featuring roasted poularde, spring vegetables and a silky, flavourful Albufera sauce.

Dining experiences / Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok

Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok is offering seasonal experiences until November at the hotel’s restaurants. Salvia is commemorating its 6th anniversary this autumn with a new seasonal à la carte menu. Enjoy a bountiful harvest of ingredients such as crisp apples, sweet pumpkin, mushrooms, figs, new potatoes and fresh seafood, with each dish celebrating one or two autumn ingredients. Available from Sept 21-27. Gaston’s premium Wine Dinner 2nd edition on Sept 18 will see five distinct handpicked labels, each with its own story of craftsmanship and terroir.  Until October, enjoy the new "Steam & Smoke" dishes at the Dining Room. Grilled river prawns, steamed crab, slow-smoked BBQ pork ribs and marbled beef are complemented by interactive live stations featuring handcrafted dim sum and artisanal smoked premium meats. On Sundays, there will be an additional “passaround” of smoked duck bao in September and smoked brisket beef bao in October.  As Halloween arrives, themed delicacies include Vampire’s lasagna, Zombie’s BBQ ribs, Wicked witch’s beef stew and Graveyard mac ’n’ cheese, alongside French oysters, steamed sea crab and roasted rack of lamb. Only on Oct 30-31. On Nov 26, the annual Thanksgiving Dinner Buffet brings loved ones together over a traditional feast of roast turkey with all the trimmings, honey-glazed ham, and classic pumpkin pie, complete with irresistible S’mores and a refreshing grapefruit ginger lemonade. The Erawan Tea Room is offering "Rot Mue Mae", meaning Mother’s Touch, a medley of sweet, spicy, sour and savoury flavours, until November. 

Truffle special / Roukh Cuisine / Until Oct 31

Roukh Cuisine at Roukh Kiri Khaoyai celebrates the beauty and flavours of the season with “A Touch Of Truffle”, featuring two specially crafted dishes. The experience begins with Roasted chicken breast with truffle jus and Parma ham brioche. Available until Oct 31.

Afternoon tea / Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok / Until Nov 30

Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok welcomes the arrival of autumn with The Autumn Afternoon Tea, at The Authors’ Lounge until Nov 30. Inspired by the colours and flavours of the season, the menu brings together delicate savouries, warm scones and handcrafted pastries in one of Bangkok’s most storied settings. The experience begins with pear and chestnut ice cream, followed by a selection of savouries combining delicately flavoured breads with carefully balanced fillings.

Dusit Hotels and Resorts will open Dusit Princess Ipoh on Oct 1, bringing its distinctive Thai-inspired gracious hospitality to Ipoh, the capital of Malaysia’s Perak state. Located approximately 200km north of Kuala Lumpur and shaped by the late-19th-century tin-mining boom that transformed the city into an important commercial hub, Ipoh is home to a historic centre where colonial-era shophouses, traditional kopitiams, and small local businesses preserve the character of the city’s past. Under its new identity as Dusit Princess Ipoh, the established 268-room property is beside the Perak Turf Club and is less than a five-minute drive from Ipoh city centre. Sultan Azlan Shah Airport is approximately 10 minutes away. Accommodation spans five room categories, ranging from 25m² Superior Rooms to 58m² Family Suites. Rooms offer views across the Perak Turf Club or city skyline and Family Rooms and Family Suites also include kitchenettes.
