Sunday brunch / The Sukhothai Bangkok / Oct 4

The Sukhothai Bangkok announces the return of "The Legendary Sunday Brunch at Colonnade Restaurant" on Oct 4. Following its refurbishment, Colonnade reopens with an elevated brunch experience that brings together Colonnade, Celadon, La Scala and pastry. To celebrate the return, the brunch will feature a special collaboration with Peony Chinese Restaurant from Discovery Bay, Hong Kong, bringing its refined Cantonese dim sum craftsmanship. Guests can discover six handcrafted Cantonese dim sum creations, offering a selection of classic and contemporary favourites. The next brunch will be held on Oct 18.

Oktoberfest returns / Ventisi

Ventisi at Centara Grand at CentralWorld marks Oktoberfest until Oct 4 with a selection of German and Bavarian-inspired dishes added to its Thursday-to-Sunday buffet line-up, together with free-flow Royal Bavarian draught beer. Seasonal dishes will be served alongside Ventisi’s International Grand Dinner Buffet, which brings together premium seafood, live cooking stations, made-to-order specialities and dishes from across Asia and Europe. The regular spread includes oysters, mussels, river prawns, slipper lobster and Alaskan crab, as well as sushi and sashimi, unlimited foie gras, carving stations and a complimentary half lobster for each guest. The dinner buffet also changes emphasis each evening. Thursday features yellowfin tuna prepared in a range of styles; Friday turns to Gaucho-inspired beef and South American grill flavours; and Saturday focuses on crab and seafood, with Thai and international preparations joining the seafood display.

Horticultural Expo / Udon Thani / Nov 1 to March 14, 2027

Thailand will host the "Udon Thani International Horticultural Expo 2026" from Nov 1 to March 14, 2027, at a 1.65km² venue in the Nong Dae wetland of Udon Thani province in the northeast of Thailand. Reflecting the theme of "Diversity Of Life: Connecting People, Water and Plants For Sustainable Living", the exposition will present a people-water-plant nexus to visitors who will have first-hand experiences and knowledge through their close contact with nature. Exhibitions will be displayed in the expo's three highlights: "Global Horticulture, Biodiversity & Innovation Horticultural" will be showcased in the gardens of about 20 countries/organisations along with the tropical plants of Thailand; "Thai Heritage: Royal Legacy, Faith & Udon Thani" will showcase royal contributions to agriculture, water and the conservation of natural resources from the era of King Rama IX to the reign of King Rama X; "Living Isan Culture & Experiences" will display the lifestyle of Isan with foods, arts, music, handicrafts, 200 performances, festivals and special activities throughout the exposition.

Climate week / 137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok / Oct 4

137 Pillars Suites & Residences Bangkok will participate in Bangkok Climate Action Week (BKKCAW) 2026, organised by the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration, highlighting how responsible practices can be meaningfully integrated into contemporary hospitality and everyday guest experiences through “Take A Pause And Live Well”, an immersive day of sustainable living, connecting and well-being. A one-day interactive and immersive programme on Oct 4 will begin with “Get to Know Sustainable Travel” knowledge-sharing session. There will also be a two-hour “Dried Flower Frame” art workshop and a lunch at Bangkok Trading Post. The afternoon will see a “Exploring Mind and Emotions” workshop. All proceeds, after deduction of costs, will be donated to the Marine Life Conservation Foundation to support marine conservation efforts.

Turning one / Kromo Bangkok

Kromo Bangkok celebrates its first anniversary with various activities and offerings, building on its “The Cabinet of Wonders: The Nine Gems of Bangkok” concept. Kromo Curations is a new art and lifestyle series bringing together artists, creatives and wellness talents from Bangkok and beyond. The series launches with “Whispers of Tropical Rainforest Flowers” by Dr Anchana Nangkala, on view at Vilah through October. Colette Bistro & Bar offers a new dinner menu featuring contemporary takes on French favourites, alongside the signature cocktail collection “A Journey Through France’s Wine Landscapes,” inspired by eight renowned French wine regions. The Anniversary Lucky Draw is for guests staying until Oct 31.

Two kingdoms, one campaign / Healing And Happiness 

The Department of Tourism, Ministry of Industry Commerce and Employment, Bhutan and the Tourism Authority of Thailand launched the “Healing And Happiness” campaign at the Tourism Expo Japan (TEJ) 2026, which runs until Sept 27 in Tokyo, strengthening the two countries’ ongoing tourism cooperation under the “Two Kingdoms, One Destination” partnership. The campaign brings together the distinct tourism experiences of Thailand and Bhutan, inviting travellers to discover journeys centred on wellness, culture, nature, spirituality and meaningful experiences. Through the campaign, the two destinations seek to showcase how travellers can experience the contrasting yet complementary character of Thailand and Bhutan as part of a connected journey.

Awesome October / The Standard, Hua Hin

September is about to end and The Standard, Hua Hin is gearing up for October with a line-up of events. "Pop Hits & Poolside Sips" at Lido Bar is scheduled for Oct 7 as a celebration of International Pop Music Day with DJ James Clark spinning pop favourites. On Oct 11, early risers can join "Hua Hin Young Run" for a relaxed city run, then stretch it out by the sea with a special Morning Yoga session in collaboration with Alo Yoga. Both are free to join. The real fun begins on Oct 22 with "Not Your Standard Bingo: The Wicked Edition". Expect amazing prizes, spooky surprises and a special kind of bingo. Guests are encouraged to come dressed to thrill. "Caffeine Social" returns to The Juice Café on Oct 25 for its fourth round, bringing speciality brews from Beans Roaster and live sets by DJ Casio Culture. Of course, on Oct 31, "Halloween After Dark: The Standard Beach Party" takes over the beachfront lawn from 5pm until midnight. Expect a full night of Halloween costumes, cocktails, dancefloor grooves and suitably wicked fun, with a 5-set DJ lineup. And yes, dressing up is more than just encouraged. 

SACIT X Molly / Molly 20th Anniversary Exhibition – Bangkok / Until Oct 25

The Sustainable Arts and Crafts Institute of Thailand (SACIT) supports Thai artists in creating work inspired by Molly as part of the Molly 20th Anniversary Exhibition – Bangkok, which runs until Oct 25 at Chulalongkorn University Centenary Park. For example, Molly, Pop Mart's most recognised mascot, gets incorporated into Thai craftsmanship as presented as Benjarong porcelain ware. The exhibition is a joint effort between Pop Mart Thailand, TAT and Property Management of Chulalongkorn University. Free admission.


EAT

Lumina lamb / Goji Kitchen + Bar

Goji Kitchen + Bar at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park will showcase Lumina lamb, sourced directly from the lush grasslands and pastures of New Zealand. Until Sept 27, the lamb will be on offer in an array of dishes at the weekday and weekend dinners, Saturday lunch and Sunday brunch. At the live Carving Station, chefs will expertly slice roasted lamb rack, slow-roasted lamb shoulder, and (for Sunday brunch only) an indulgent lamb Wellington. Dedicated live stations will also present Italian-style lamb ragu with pappardelle and spiced lamb burgers. The Live Barbecue will then chargrill a series of dishes: spicy marinated lamb skewers and lamb’s kidney and liver skewers. Fans of Asian cuisine can satisfy their taste buds with Braised lamb shank, pan-fried lamb sweetbreads, and BBQ lamb spareribs, and a culinary journey to northern Thailand will showcase khao soilamb.

Seafood buffet / InterContinental Bangkok

The Premium Seafood Dinner Buffet at Espresso showcases fresh offerings from the ocean every Wednesday to Sunday within the ambience of InterContinental Bangkok’s all-day dining venue. The dinner buffet entices with a Seafood on ice, showcasing an unmatched variety. Irish and Fine De Claire oysters are joined by a lush collection of Avruga caviar, Salmon roe, Black lumpfish and Red lumpfish. Continue to be spoilt for choice with other chilled features such as steamed Golden king crab legs, Canadian lobster, Poached river prawns and White prawns, New Zealand green mussels and Swimmer crab. The experience continues at the BBQ Station, offering marinated Salmon with dill cream sauce and marinated Tiger prawns with caper butter sauce, with Goong ob samoon pai  as the highlight.

Until Oct 31, Roukh Kiri Khaoyai invites guests to unwind amid the natural beauty of Khao Yai with a stay in the Mountain Villa, a spacious 80m² private retreat set on elevated grounds with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and lush greenery. The villa features a king-size bed, daybed, separate living and dining areas, and a semi-outdoor bathroom with a spacious bathtub.

Spa collab / JW Marriott Bangkok x Pasaya x Elemis 

JW Marriott Bangkok has joined forces with Thai textile brand Pasaya and British skincare brand Elemis to introduce "The Art Of Living Well", a new collaboration centred on holistic longevity. Bringing together restorative sleep, advanced skincare and mindful nutrition, the collaboration explores three complementary pillars: Sleep Well, Restore Well and Eat Well. At the heart is a permanent new wellness experience at Spa by JW, complemented by the Thailand launch of Elemis Pro-Collagen Future Restore Eye Serum and JW Marriott Bangkok’s approach to thoughtful, balanced dining. Central to the collaboration is a newly transformed treatment room created with Pasaya and Elemis. A bespoke Pasaya Textile Wall Mural inspired by nature envelops the room, while specially selected furnishings and textiles create a calming setting for rest and treatment.

New collection / NikeLab Running / From Oct 1

Featuring tops, bottoms and outerwear in women’s and men’s styles, the debut seasonal collection from NikeLab Running channels the look of speed into designs that move with the runner. At the centre, the women’s offering includes wool-blend tops that balance breathability, insulation and versatility, alongside shorts, leggings, vests and outerwear. For men, lightweight woven jackets and pants combine stretch, comfort and refined tailoring across changing conditions. Maui Jim, high-end eyewear brand, unveils its latest campaign in Thailand, starring actor and television host Patara “Foei” Eksangkul. Featuring the Ho‘okipa Ultra, Ho‘okipa Ultra G, Miona and the new Optical Collection, the campaign highlights Maui Jim’s innovative lens technology, premium craftsmanship and contemporary design, bringing exceptional clarity, comfort and timeless style to every moment.

Colombian briolettes / Mouawad 

Mouawad unveils “Pristine Colombian Briolettes", a high jewellery suite that captures the beauty of nature through vivid Colombian emeralds and the scintillating brilliance of white diamonds. At its heart are six meticulously selected Colombian emeralds, five of which are cut in the distinctive briolette shape. Floral motifs crafted from Round, Marquise and Pear-cut diamonds evoke blossoming flowers and delicate leaves in full bloom. The suite comprises a necklace, earrings, ring and bracelet, each meticulously set in 18K white gold. 

Brand ambassador / Burberry

Singer and actor Koji Mukai is the latest talent to join Burberry’s cohort of brand ambassadors. The Thai-Japanese artist is a member of the nine-person group Snow Man, one of Japan’s most influential contemporary pop acts. Alongside Mukai’s success as a recording artist, he has also established himself as an actor and television personality. "Burberry has been a brand I have worn and truly cherished for many years," Mukai says. "To be chosen as an ambassador for a house I hold so close to my heart is an honour I deeply appreciate."
