Gifts and products from 45 countries worldwide will be presented during the 71st YWCA Diplomatic Charity Bazaar, which kicks off tomorrow and runs until Sunday.
Held to mark the beginning of the season of celebrations and giving by YWCA, ambassadors and the diplomatic spouses, the event is elevated to a grand international giftplace spanning across 2,000 square metres at CentralWorld Pulse on the 7th floor of CentralWorld.
Originating as a Christmas bazaar in 1953, the event has evolved into an international charity festival that unites people from diverse nations through culture, sharing and passing on opportunities to society.
This year's bazaar will be packed with more than 200 booths offering a diverse selection of quality products and rare finds from around the world, as well as renowned cultural and festival products specially curated by the spouses of the heads of missions. Some items are not typically available in supermarkets.
Throughout four days, visitors and tourists will enjoy a complete "eat-shop-gift" experience in an atmosphere filled with joy and sharing, ranging from food, chocolate, cheese, coffee and wine to fashion and handicrafts that reflect unique identities from around the world.
