Musk's space boo-boo

Re: "Judge allows case against DOGE to move ahead", (World, May 29).

Elon Musk has decreased his time in the Oval Office so he can attend to his other interests, and it's probably a good idea.

SpaceX's Flight 9 went up for quite a way, getting to empty outer space before yet again another boo-boo of some form happening and it returned to a very full ocean. Boo-boo isn't probably the most detailed scientific explanation but it is accurate.

Space flights have always been dangerous, and explosions have occurred before, but now it seems that SpaceX seems to be making it compulsory. It's a good thing Elon Musk is so wealthy, at present.

Whitewash on way?

Re: "Minister raises concerns in case against three medics", (BP, May 28).

Is the committee appointed by Public Health Minister Somsak Thepsutin to review the Medical Council of Thailand's conclusion that no evidence proved that Thaksin suffered from serious illnesses warranting his extended hospitalisation qualified for the task?

Khun Somsak insists on the need to evaluate all medical and legal aspects of the case before deciding.

Yet, he's excluded medical professors from the review committee and hasn't stated that the group included lawyers.

So, who's qualified to judge on these legal factors? Or is a whitewash coming up?

Missing Foodpanda

Re: "Asean builds trust in digital future", (Opinion, May 26).

For years, I enjoyed a good relationship with Foodpanda. One of the main reasons I stayed with them was the fact that I could access their service on my PC. As their service went downhill, I encountered some issues that made me look at the Grab food service.

There appears to be no way to order from Grab on a PC as their app is only offered as a mobile app. I could install an Android emulator, but most are designed for gamers and developers.

I tried both Google and Microsoft stores with no success.

As an elderly person, I have issues with the small format of both the screen size and keyboard when searching multiple menu options on my phone.

Messaging Grab on Facebook yielded the usual canned reply to my "Can you install Grab Food on a PC?" inquiry. Of course, the reply was in Thai, which, when translated, said "I am still learning, try back later".

They might consider the fact that there are those who would be in the same boat as I.
