Sühring, a modern German restaurant, has been newly promoted to three Michelin stars, becoming Thailand’s second restaurant, after Sorn, to earn the honour.

The 2026 Michelin list also welcomed two restaurants newly promoted to two Michelin stars, along with three new and four promoted restaurants awarded one star.
This year also marked the debut of a new special award, the “Michelin Guide Mentor Chef Award”, honouring chefs dedicated to nurturing the next generation of culinary talent, and it went to David Thompson of the Michelin-starred Aksorn.
Goat, a contemporary Thai restaurant, joins the Michelin Green Star community, bringing the total number of restaurants recognised for mindful practices to five.

Anne-Sophie Pic at Le Normandie and Inddee were both awarded two stars.
Of the seven new one-Michelin-star entries, three newcomers have been added, with four being promoted from Michelin Selected. Bo.lan, Cannubi by Umberto Bombana, Etcha, Gaggan, Juksunchae, Nusara, led by Chef Thitid “Ton” Tassanakajohn, who is the only chef with two Michelin-starred restaurants in Thailand, and Sushi Saito.

The Michelin Guide Young Chef Award went to Suwijak “Mon” Kunghae, of Royd in Phuket. The Opening of the Year Award went to Margo from chef Wilfrid Hocquet.
The Michelin Guide Service Award was given to Arsen Brahaj, restaurant manager at Aulis in Phang-Nga.
