St. Patrick’s Day / Beer Republic / March 17

Raise a glass or two to the patron saint of the Emerald Isle at the annual St. Patrick's Day celebrations at Beer Republic. Guinness will be on offer along with a special menu of Irish-themed dishes like Green bun dressed with caramelised onions and bacon and served with Guinness and cheese sauce; Dublin Coddle stew of plump sausages and potato; Shepherd’s Pie; Irish chicken wings; and Irish Spice Bag.

St. Patrick’s Day / Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa / March 17

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa's “St. Patrick’s Day Dinner Buffet” will be hosted at Siam Bakery on March 17. The menu features comforting Irish staples such as hearty lamb stew, premium roast selections, a live carving station, cold cuts, cheeses and a delightful array of desserts. Meanwhile, Big Fish & Bar presents its limited‑time “Mediterranean Sea Bream Creations” a special menu celebrating the elegance and freshness of premium sea bream through four refined dishes. Indulge in “Ping Ngop” sea bream; Fried turmeric sea bream “Hanoi style”; Steamed sea bream fillet; and Grilled sea bream fillet. Being served until March 31.

Caviar and Champagne / Sartoria by Paulo Airaudo x Kaviari x Louis Roederer / March 20

Sartoria by Paulo Airaudo joins hands with Kaviari and Louis Roederer to present an exclusive "Caviar and Champagne Dinner" on March 20.  The five-course experience begins with Louis Roederer Collection 245, accompanied by a tasting of three Kaviari caviars — Baeri, Oscietra and Kristal. The highlight of the evening presents Blue lobster with Kristal caviar paired with Louis Roederer Cristal Rosé 2014.

First anniversary / Lay Beach Club / March 14

Lay Beach Club in Pattaya will host “Sabores del Mar (Flavours Of The Sea)" on March 14 to celebrate its first anniversary. The club will welcome chefs William Stringfellow, Juan Ignacio “Nacho” García Racionero and Lluis Cantons from Meliá Pattaya Hotel, Innside by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit and Meliá Koh Samui to showcase Spanish tapas and Mediterranean dishes at an array of live stations. Following sunset sangria and canapes, the chefs will serve the likes of patatas bravas, paella de Marisco, gambas al ajillo and fideua capellini paired with Spanish bubbles, white, and red wines. The evening’s entertainment will be underscored by a 20-minute fire show and the celebration’s dress code is “blue and white sunset chic”.

Kitchen takeover / Pavilion x AngloThai / March 13-14

AngloThai will take over the kitchen at Pavilion, Dusit Thani Bangkok, on March 13-14. Led by chef John Chantarasak, AngloThai will offer a five-course dinner that weaves British seasonal produce with Thai cuisine. Expect a trio of refined appetisers: Laverbread tartlet with rhubarb and daikon; Lemongrass sausage with banana pepper and soy bean; and Gillardeau oyster with seabuckthorn and fermented chilli. For the main course, Wagyu striploin is elevated with peppercorn curry and truffle.

Fitness meet / Hyrox Bangkok / March 20-22

Hyrox returns to Bangkok for a second year from March 20-22 at the Bangkok International Trade & Exhibition Centre (Bitec). The event will also feature the return of Hyrox House, which offers an elevated festival-style experience focused on recovery, refuelling and celebration. Hyrox House will showcase a curated selection of food and beverage offerings, live entertainment including renowned artists, DJ sets and engaging activities for all ages. Racers can also unwind and recharge with steam saunas, ice and hot plunge, compression boots and more. Athletes can compete individually, in pairs or as a four-person relay team. The event provides a vital pathway for pro athletes to secure their qualification for the 2026 Hyrox World Championships in Stockholm.

Fans of the One Piece universe, especially those who're on the manga and animated series side, can enjoy a pop-up cafe inspired by the famous works of manga artist Eiichiro Oda. Go on an adventure across 600m² in Siam Paragon's Attraction Hall.

PechaKucha Night Bangkok is scheduled to take place at Central Embassy's Open House on March 20. More than just a talk, this is the art of storytelling. PechaKucha Night — named after the Japanese word that mimics the sound of “chit-chat” — is a stage that challenges creativity through its universal “20×20” rule: 20 images shown for 20 seconds each. Within this fast-paced format, each idea is distilled into a powerful, concise presentation. Sharp, dynamic and engaging. With every slide change comes a new moment of excitement, as speakers must captivate the audience and hold their attention from start to finish. This time, Open House at Central Embassy opens its stage for everyone to showcase a cooler, contemporary take on Thai identity under the theme “Made In Thailand”. From emerging artists, leading architects, dream-driven students and even everyday storytellers with remarkable perspectives on Thailand.

Italian delights / Tops / Until March 17

Supermarket Tops is hosting "Discover Italy: The Extraordinary Italian Taste" until March 17. The supermarkets under Central Retail, in collaboration with Embassy Of Italy and the Italian Trade Agency, invite epicureans to browse through made-in-Italy products from different regions, totalling 1,364 types of items from premium ingredients to gourmet food. Cheeses, caviars, pastas, sauces, snacks, coffees and sweets — you name it.

Wagyu night / Ventisi

Ventisi Restaurant at Centara Grand at CentralWorld introduces "Sip & Sizzle Nights – Wagyu Edition", with unlimited servings of wagyu specialities. Cold starters feature wagyu carpaccio, pastrami with slaw and classic beef tartare, before moving into robust, flame-kissed mains. Highlights include Rossini-style beef, Café de Paris steak, grilled short ribs with the perfect char, Japanese-style teriyaki skewers and Wagyu ravioli. Balancing the richness are fresh seafood selections on ice, including river prawns, slipper lobster and mussels, alongside sushi and sashimi, truffled mushroom velouté and a range of international favourites.

Dining experiences / Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok

Welcome spring at Salvia with the "Sapori di Primavera" until March 31. A new menu by Chef Roberto Parentela introduces antipasti dishes and main courses inspired by the vibrance of the Italian spring. Early-spring vegetables such as jumbo white asparagus, green asparagus, artichoke, courgette and various berries. Meanwhile, in The Dining Room, until the end of April, embark on a culinary journey across Asia, bringing together exotic flavours from Thailand, Japan, China, Korea,  Vietnam, Malaysia and India. Savour a lavish buffet featuring Tandoori Lamb Chop, Korean Kimchi Pancake, Pad  Thai noodles and desserts such as Thai mango sticky rice and gulab jamun, one of India’s most cherished festive treats. 

Park brunching / Park Hyatt Bangkok 

Park Hyatt Bangkok introduces two Sunday Brunch experiences, with Embassy Room La Marina offering coastal Mediterranean flavors through a seafood-forward journey, and Penthouse Bar + Grill offering a grill-focused brunch anchored by premium cuts and refined execution. At  Embassy Room La Marina, guests begin with ocean-fresh selections “From The Sea", featuring blue swimmer crab, tiger prawns, a delicious selection of oysters and a refreshing seafood salad. “From The Land” showcases a curated selection of cold cuts, cheeses and delicate beef carpaccio finished with mustard dressing. Hot dishes complete the journey, including a sunny side up egg with steamed asparagus and black truffle, homemade fettuccine with garlic, chilli and a shrimp-scallop sauce and flank steak accompanied by rocket and balsamic reduction. At Penthouse Bar + Grill, expect the Meat Platter and an all-you-can-eat à la carte selection of premium steaks, fresh seafood and decadent desserts. 

Limited showcase / Tsu Japanese Restaurant / Until April 30

Tsu Japanese Restaurant at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok presents a limited-time culinary showcase inspired by Tottori, Japan, a region known for its breathtaking landscapes and ingredient-driven cuisine. Available until April 30, the menu brings the spirit of Tottori to the table through thoughtfully selected regional specialties. Chef Atsushi Yoshida offers Nebarikko age-dashi featuring Tottori’s prized yam; Zuwai snow crab and ikura clay pot rice;  A5 Tottori wagyu olein 55 striploin steak; Slow-simmered Gyokotsu ramen; and  Oushu pear sorbet with compote.

Thai feast / Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok / Until May 31

Indulge in 90 minutes of unlimited a la carte Thai cuisine at Bangkok’78. Enjoy a wide variety of dishes, including classic Thai main dishes, popular one-dish selections, comforting soups, pizza, pasta and delightful desserts. The highlight menu is presented across several categories, blending local specialities and Western favourites. Available till May 31.

Japanese wagyu / Nobu Bangkok / Until March 31

Nobu Bangkok unveils "The Wonder Of Japanese Wagyu", a month-long showcase dedicated to the artistry and precision of premium Japanese beef. Until March 31, wagyu sourced from Japan’s pristine regions will be presented across 12 dishes. From refined sushi and delicate tartare to succulent steaks and inventive desserts, this limited-time culinary experience celebrates the depth, elegance, and versatility of wagyu through Nobu’s Japanese-Peruvian expression.

Black truffle / Red Sky / Until March 31

Red Sky Restaurant at Centara Grand, CentralWorld celebrates the black truffle this month March with a selection of dishes crafted by chef de cuisine Luca Russo. Indulge in velvety foie gras complemented by hazelnut and black truffle; savour traditional homemade tagliolini tossed with Parmesan and fresh truffle; or delight in a creamy risotto paired with premium scallops and black truffle.


STAY

Crossing borders  / Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane 

Minor Hotels has announced Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane, a design-led, premium lifestyle hotel set to open in Q2. The property will become Minor Hotels’ second hotel in Laos, joining Avani+ Luang Prabang. Located on Fa Ngum Road and approximately 15 minutes from Wattay International Airport, Avani+ Lanexang Vientiane will feature 197 rooms across a range of categories, from Deluxe Rooms to Suites and a spacious Presidential Suite. Mekong Mosaic will operate as the all-day dining restaurant, serving international cuisine with an extensive buffet and live cooking stations and both indoor and outdoor seating. Sabaidee Social will bring an easygoing, bar-led atmosphere to the ground floor with direct access from the street. The Pantry will provide a relaxed café and deli concept for coffee, casual bites and informal meetings. For a more elevated occasion, Salongxay will offer fine dining, supported by two private dining rooms for small-group celebrations and hosted experiences. The hotel will feature AvaniSpa and AvaniFit, with an outdoor swimming pool. The Lanexang Hall ballroom will accommodate up to 320 guests and be divisible into two function rooms.


STUFF

New mode / Huawei Watch GT 6

MadriHuawei has launched the Activity rings feature in Huawei watches. The Activity rings introduce Wheelchair mode, a feature designed exclusively for wheelchair users, which tracks daily activities by accurately monitoring pushes. Enhanced icons, motivational messages and optimised algorithms work together. A new workout mode, Rolling, will be available at the end of December, with the latest Huawei Watch GT 6 Series being the first to support it.

New car / Honda  

Honda Automobile (Thailand) has unveiled the "Honda e:N2", a 100% fully electric SUV. Pre-registration is open until March 22, with exclusive offers. Customers who reserve the right to own between March 23 and April 6 can take delivery of their vehicle by April 30. The Honda e:N2 features a sporty fastback SUV design with sharp, knives-out lines and a signature grille‑less front that defines its EV identity, further equipped with rear privacy glass and front and rear soundproof glass, introduced for the first time in Honda cars in Thailand. The Honda e:N2 is available in three exterior colours: Urban Gray Pearl, Crystal Black Pearl and Diamond Dust Pearl, featuring a two-tone (grey/black) interior colour with orange stripe. Experience the Honda e:N2 at the Honda booth (A22) from March 25 to April 5, as well as at Honda showrooms.
