Jazz evening / Kromo X Scatt Jazz Orchestra / May 1

On May 1, Vilah Creative Social Space, Kromo Bangkok will host a one night-only collaboration between Kromo and the Scatt Jazz Orchestra. Vilah Creative Social Space will be transformed into an intimate jazz lounge, offering a refined live performance designed for a select gathering of music lovers. Tickets include one complimentary drink per person and free-flow pass-around canapés throughout the evening. 

Crystal workshop / Slowcombo / April 26 

The Crystal 101 workshop is a beginner-friendly workshop designed as a foundational introduction to crystal energy and self-discovery. The session covers essential practices — from learning how to connect with crystals to cleansing, charging and using them effectively in daily life — supporting the development of a meaningful and grounded spiritual routine. The workshop will be held on April 26 at Libra & Pisces, Slowcombo. 

Sailing summer / Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa x Jojai Club x Harnn / April 25

Pattaya Marriott Resort and Spa has teamed up with Jojai Club and Harnn to offer “Sailing Of Summer: The Ocean Rituals – Sunset Yoga On A Yacht". Staged on April 25, the wellness sessions aboard a yacht, include yoga led by Kru Poy of Bangkok Yoga Diary and curated wellness rituals by Harnn, with a key highlight, “The Art Of Body Oil Rituals". A Sunset Reception by the resort will showcase a selection of premium casual bites from the resort’s signature dining venues, such as uramaki rolls spicy tuna and mango avocado rolls from Torien Rooftop and Bar, Pattaya’s highest Japanese izakaya, watermelon with feta and balsamic and guacamole with corn tortilla chips from Goji Kitchen Grill & Bar and sourdough focaccia with cherry tomato and apple and raisin strudel from La Familiare.

Summer jazz / InterContinental Koh Samui Resort / April 28

InterContinental Koh Samui Resort will be part of "Samui Summer Jazz 2026" on April 28, welcoming internationally acclaimed Dutch jazz trumpeter Michael Varekamp. The resort will host a jazz evening at Air Bar, featuring the Michael Varekamp Quintet with Dutch musician Alexander Beets, presenting “From New Orleans To New York". Presented in collaboration with Skål International Koh Samui and Sisters On Samui, and supported by Bangkok International Hospital – Samui, the event forms part of the wider Samui Summer Jazz Festival. The festival celebrates international jazz talent while also supporting the “Music in Schools” initiative by Sisters on Samui, a community programme dedicated to bringing music education to local children on the island.

Wellness collab / Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok / Until April 30

As part of its 150th anniversary celebrations, Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok's The Oriental Wellness Club has collaborated with Asmi By Oberoi, a personalised wellness philosophy. Available until April 30, the collab brings Asmi to The Oriental Wellness Club through a limited-time programme of movement, breathwork, bodywork and mindfulness. The bespoke Asmi journey will be presented by three masters. Derived from the Sanskrit phrase meaning "I am", Asmi blends ancient Indian wisdom, including Ayurveda, yoga and mindfulness, with modern science-backed practices. 

Guest shift / Bar. Yard / April 27

Bar.Yard at Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok invites cocktail enthusiasts to experience an evening of boundary-pushing mixology as The Enigma Mansion from Ho Chi Minh City takes over the bar for a special one-night guest shift on April 27. The guest shift will be led by bar manager Thong "Tee" Hoai, showcasing a curated selection of inventive cocktails in collaboration with Nakin Gin. A specially curated cocktail menu by Tee, features Dracontomelon with Vietnamese dracontomelon, genmaicha, goat milk and pennywort; Beetroot layered with tamarind, jasmine and parmesan; Strawberry blending strawberry whey, koji water and cacao wine; and Rice, a savoury-forward mix of red rice, miso and passionfruit bitters.

Kitchen takeover / Luz Bangkok / April 25

Innside by Meliá Bangkok Sukhumvit’s Luz Bangkok Tapas Bar will welcome chef Manuel Alonso on April 25 for “Taste Of Tapas: Touch The Sky”, a four-hour rooftop takeover held in partnership with the Spanish-Thai Chamber of Commerce, along with Luz’s head chef Juan Ignacio “Nacho” García Racionero. Chef Alonso has spent more than four decades at the helm of Casa Manolo, the family-run restaurant founded by his grandparents in Valencia. Drawing on ingredients from both land and sea, he combines locally sourced produce with techniques refined over years in some of Spain’s most influential kitchens. At Luz, he will work with chef Nacho to craft a tapas menu designed for sharing. Dishes will include a seafood paella, alongside ajo blanco, a chilled almond and garlic soup served with smoked sardine.

Photography awards / Oppo / Until Dec 31

Oppo has launched the "Oppo Photography Awards 2026", marking the return of the annual competition that provides a global stage for mobile photographers to showcase diverse perspectives through visual storytelling. This year's edition introduces a two new categories —Super Video and Super Zoom as part of an updated six-category line-up that also includes Journey, Me, Live and Snap, and includes a total prize pool of US$76,500 distributed across the various prize categories. In partnership with Discovery Channel, Oppo has launched the "Filmmaker Accelerator Program", offering young creators exclusive mentorship from industry professionals. Creators who submit videos to the Super Video category will have the chance to be invited to produce a short film with end-to-end creative support and potential broadcast opportunities, alongside a grant provided by Oppo. In addition to the Gold, Silver and Bronze Awards, participants can also earn recognition and generous incentives through Honorable Mentions, Regional Awards and the Audience Choice Awards. A total of 38 different awards or acknowledgements are on offer across all categories. The awards also introduces a new monthly contest format. Submissions for the Oppo Photography Awards 2026 and the first round of monthly contests are open until Dec 31.

Champagne brunch / Uno Mas / May 3 and June 7

Uno Mas at Centara Grand at CentralWorld brings back its Champagne Brunch on May 3 and June 7, inviting guests to settle into a slower Sunday shaped by Spanish cooking, seafood and steady pours of Veuve Clicquot. Chef Borja Terry Borrego leads the experience with a menu that draws from the rhythms of a traditional Spanish lunch. Jamón Ibérico is carved to order, while dishes move between the raw bar and the kitchen, from A5 Kobe beef sashimi to seafood served on ice, including Alaskan king crab, Maine lobster, oysters, and prawns. Tapas and seasonal plates are served throughout. Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label Brut anchors the afternoon for those opting for the full experience, poured throughout the service.

New exhibition / Tars Unlimited / May 1 to June 7

"Pedro Teach Me How To Paint", a project by Unchalee Anantawat, explores the return of an elusive imagined lover, Pedro Hernandez. Half-Taiwanese and half-Mexican, Pedro exists somewhere between memory, fiction and emotional projection. Through his recent reappearance, he reshapes the artist’s approach to painting, allowing the works to emerge through a process of surrender, intimacy, and uncertainty. Together, they form a body of paintings that feels unfamiliar even to the artist herself. "Pedro Teach Me How To Paint" presents the works of Unchalee that will be on view from May 1 to June 7 at This Is Unlimited. 

Street art / Sanctuary Gallery x EM District / April 28 to May 12

Sanctuary Gallery, in collaboration with EM District, presents “Night And Day", a street art exhibition featuring a collaborative body of work by Muebon, one of Thailand’s leading street artists, and Martin Whatson, a renowned artist from Norway. Celebrating more than 20 years of friendship, the exhibition showcases contemporary works that blend the distinctive visual languages of both artists. The exhibition will be on view from April 28 to May 12 at Sphere Gallery, Emsphere. “Night And Day” explores the contrast between two artistic styles that ultimately complement one another. The exhibition pairs Muebon's playful yet socially reflective characters with Whatson's layered stencil works, defined by his signature use of decay techniques that reveal the hidden beauty of urban deterioration. The result is a compelling visual dialogue between vibrancy and stillness — between “day” and “night".

Tennis camp / Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas / April 27–29

Wyndham Hua Hin Pranburi Resort & Villas has launched its “Introduction To Tennis” camp designed to help kids learn the sport or enhance their skills during the school holidays. The three-day programme has two age-based groups to ensure the best learning experience for every child. Group A, or the Mini Tennis Group (between the ages of five an nine), focuses on fun movements, coordination, and basic ball control. Group B, or the Junior Tennis Group (between the ages of 10–15), introduces participants to proper techniques, rallies and real match play. Each day of the programme offers something new. Upcoming sessions will take place from April 27–29.

Khao chae will be available for a limited time at Praya Palazzo till May 31. Fragrant jasmine rice is delicately immersed in chilled, floral-infused water, subtly perfumed and adorned with rose petals. Accompaniments include Sweet preserved radish slow-caramelised to a glossy finish, Hand-shaped shrimp paste balls fried to golden perfection, Stuffed shallots and sweet shredded pork, among others.

Flourish restaurant at Sindhorn Kempinski Hotel Bangkok is offering the "Authentic Thai Set Lunch", by chef Chatsorn Pratoomma. Begin with a selection of salad and appetisers, featuring organic chicken with Vietnamese parsley and Royal Project vine tomato, alongside sesame prawn toast served with chilli dipping sauce. For the main course, select two dishes from a tempting menu of four signature creations like Homemade knifefish balls in aromatic jungle curry with wild ginger, Deep-fried Kurobuta pork belly with fish sauce and garlic, Salted sun-dried beef in fragrant herbal coconut soup with bird’s eye chilli and Stir-fried soft-shell crab with coriander, pepper and Thai garlic. End on a sweet note with Taro ice cream served with coconut pudding and sesame rice crunch.

Échiré, the French butter house famed for its premium AOP butter, introduces its latest “Summer Cake Collection", a refined series of six desserts crafted with Valrhona chocolate at the forefront. Designed to showcase the depth, intensity, and nuanced flavour profiles of Valrhona, each creation is balanced with Échiré’s signature rich, aromatic butter. A food collab you didn't see coming. KFC Thailand sweetens your breaks with its new dessert menu, “KitKat Overload”, which includes Kone KitKat Overload, Kream Cup KitKat Overload and Egg Tart KitKat Overload. Basically, a remix of their existing desserts with KitKat crumbles.

Minor Hotels has unveiled plans to build a new global data and AI platform from the ground up in partnership with Google Cloud, Salesforce, OneTrust and Deloitte. At its core is the creation of a single digital platform connecting global guest data, marketing and service operations. Short film / Upper House Residences

"A House In The Making", a film released on YouTube, brings together the creative teams behind Upper House Residences Bangkok and The Wireless Residences by Upper House. It offers a considered look at the thinking, craft and collaboration behind the first Upper House branded residences globally, situated on a rare freehold site on Bangkok’s prestigious Wireless Road. Featuring Foster + Partners, BAR Studio, PIA Interior and P Landscape, the film explores how architecture, interiors, landscape and service come together to shape two distinct Houses. Currently under development, Upper House Residences Bangkok comprises 156 residences within a 52-storey building, while The Wireless Residences by Upper House comprises 239 residences within a 71-storey tower. Both towers are scheduled for phased completion from 2029 and will be managed by Upper House.
