White asparagus / Bull & Bear / May 11-31

Bull & Bear, the steakhouse of Waldorf Astoria Bangkok, presents a special menu featuring white asparagus from Germany to celebrate the arrival of spring. The menu is available from May 11–31. Highlights include Hokkaido scallop carpaccio with white asparagus salad and lemon truffle vinaigrette; Pan-fried turbot with grilled white asparagus, pistachio puree, buttered sweet peas, finished with truffle and morel jus; Saga Wagyu and white asparagus risotto with Wagyu beef, white asparagus, black truffle and lemon zest; and Mayura Signature MBS9 striploin with grilled white asparagus, confit potato, morel mushrooms and Madeira mushroom cream. In addition to the white asparagus menu, Bull & Bear also offers a wide range of signature dishes, including fresh seafood from the raw bar, the Bull & Bear salad and premium steaks such as the Mayura Signature Wagyu Striploin, porterhouse steak, and dry-aged Western Australian lamb rack.

Tasmanian salmon / Big Fish & Bar / Until May 31 

Hua Hin Marriott Resort & Spa will offer the fresh flavour of Tasmanian salmon, with an exclusive new culinary promotion at Big Fish & Bar. The salmon comes in a choice of four diverse culinary styles: Tasmanian salmon naranja aguachile or sliced raw salmon marinated in orange dressing, then served with ikura, French chives, cucumber, avocado, chili and crispy rice. The Japanese influence is also highlighted in the Charcoal-grilled Tasmanian salmon, which sees salmon fillet glazed with kabayaki sauce and chargrilled to perfection, then enhanced with local mushrooms, sweet onion, gari, soba noodles and spicy furikake. Oven-roasted Tasmanian salmon is accompanied with green asparagus, new potatoes, green peas and a vibrant citrus and caper butter sauce. Finally, fans of Thai flavours can choose Choo chee Tasmanian salmon, a rich and creamy Thai red curry with young coconut cream and kaffir lime leaves, served with steamed jasmine rice.

Dinner collab / North by Four Seasons / May 9

Four Seasons Resort Chiang Mai invites guests to a one-night-only “Dine Around The Resort” experience on May 9. The evening is designed as a progressive dining journey, with each course hosted at a different scenic venue across the resort to showcase its natural beauty and distinctive settings. The evening will unfold as a six‑hands dinner, featuring guest chef Phongsakorn “Bank” Jiarasatit in collaboration with executive chef Alvin Dela Cruz and executive sous chef Naruchit Taingtrong, coming together at North by Four Seasons. The evening begins with sunset cocktails beside the resort’s rice fields before guests move through a series of curated dining locations. Each course reflects a distinct expression of flavour and place, culminating in a collaborative dessert.

Anniversary celebrations / Park Hyatt Bangkok / May 15

As part of the ninth anniversary celebrations of Park Hyatt Bangkok, Penthouse Cocktail Bar welcomes Luca Cinalli for a one-night-only guest shift on May 15. Cinalli will present a curated selection of signature cocktails, including a Cacao Barrel creation, a Coconut and White Miso cocktail finished with a hand-painted garnish, and theatrical à la minute preparations such as a Brûlé Turmeric and Parmesan cocktail. In addition, there will be a “9th Anniversary Sunday Brunch” at Penthouse Bar + Grill on May 17. The experience begins with Seafood on ice, followed by a tableside caviar trolley featuring Kaviari Kristal and Osetra caviar, salmon ikura and freshly shucked Sentinelle oysters. Highlights include foie gras with cherry compote, dried figs, brioche, and pear, alongside Jamón Ibérico and the restaurant’s signature Meat Platter, showcasing premium cuts grilled over the Parrilla and finished in the Kopa oven. Continuing the celebrations, Embassy Room La Marina presents a black truffle-inspired anniversary brunch on May 24. The menu begins with Scallop carpaccio paired with melon and San Daniele ham, followed by Wagyu “Takeda 10” striploin tagliata, finished with freshly shaved black truffle. House-made pasta selections include lobster-filled agnolotti with braised leek purée and fettuccine with porcini and morel mushrooms, each elevated with generous truffle shavings. A “Sensory Sunday Experience” at The Bar with Ruinart on May 24 incudes a “Sip & Paint” experience. Guided by Kheansee, guests will create their own artwork inspired by pieces displayed throughout the hotel, including Naga, Scholar’s Rock and Pagoda Mirage. The experience includes two glasses of Ruinart Champagne and a selection of curated canapés, and is limited to six guests. 

Bangkok debut / Chim Chim 

Artist Raider presents “The Guest That Never Left”, a playful and immersive exhibition at Chim Chim, Siam@Siam Design Hotel Bangkok. Marking Raider’s first showcase in the city, the exhibition introduces audiences to his distinctive universe of “Scoop” characters — curious, expressive figures that blur the line between collectible design and contemporary art. Set against a backdrop inspired by travel, movement, and memory, “The Guest That Never Left” explores the idea of fleeting moments that linger far longer than expected.

Wine dinner / Viu / May 15

On May 15, the Minuty Wine Dinner, inspired by Italian aperitivo culture, will be held at Viu. Featuring a five-course menu paired with premium rosé selections from Château Minuty in Côtes de Provence, a region world-renowned for its rosé wines. Each Italian Mediterranean–influenced course is thoughtfully paired, beginning with M Minuty, followed by Minuty Prestige, then Minuty Prestige Rosé 2024 alongside Rose Et Or and culminating with Château Minuty 281 for the main course before concluding with dessert, offering a balanced and refined dining experience.

Wine dinner / The Champagne Bar / May 14

The Champagne Bar at the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok with Jackson Family Wines will host a one-night-only dinner on May 14. Jackson Family Wines is one of the world’s leading wine producers and will present standout wines to pair with the hotel’s five-course menu. 

New exhibition / Townhouse Space / Until May 28

In a city where movement defines daily life and human connection shapes its rhythm, “Faces By Bjorn: Bangkok +66” offers a different way of seeing Bangkok — not through its landmarks, but through the people who give it meaning. Created by Filipino creative director and fashion photographer Bjorn Michael, the exhibition marks the first chapter of an ongoing portrait series across Asia, documenting cities through the individuals who inhabit them. In Bangkok, this takes shape as +66 — a collection of 66 black-and-white portraits, each capturing a distinct presence, from creatives and cultural figures to individuals who exist just outside the spotlight. Opening at Townhouse Space in Ari, the exhibition will be on view until May 28. 

Charity dinner / Chef Riders Dinner / May 29

Ten chefs from Marriott Bonvoy's hotels across Bangkok will come together for a night of fine food and philanthropy at the "7th Annual Chef Riders Charity Dinner", an inspiring evening at Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel that will raise funds for Save The Children Thailand. On May 29, the event will move away from the traditional sit-down dinner and immerse guests in a lively, interactive atmosphere at the hotel’s stylish R Bar, with 10 live cooking stations each overseen by one of Marriott’s culinary maestros. The chefs are: Attakrit "Lek" Sithiwaykin and Jerry Li from Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel; Attapol "X" Naito Thangthong from Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse; Marco Cammarata from Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel Bangkok; Rene Alcocer Vizarretea from The Athenee Hotel; Frederik Farina from Bangkok Marriott Hotel Sukhumvit; Teerathep "Tor" Tishabhiromya from Madi Paidi Bangkok; Chachpol "Chatch" Suaisom from Courtyard by Marriott Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport; Supoj "Gib" Suwanwong from Jubilee Prestige Hotel Ratchadapisek; and Junjira "Lek" Kaenthai from Le Méridien Bangkok. 

Rooftop social events / Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong 

Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong has launched event packages at Sato San Rooftop Bar for birthdays, private parties and corporate gatherings. There are three packages to choose from. Opt for a drink-focused experience, including a selection of signature beverages and a one-hour free-flow offering. Or choose beverages and shared bar-style bites, along with reserved seating for added comfort. Or go all out with curated food platters, signature drinks and special touches such as celebratory elements and enhanced beverage selections.

International Tea Day / Chagee / May 21

To celebrate International Tea Day on May 21, Chagee Thailand is offering a new jasmine oolong tea and a series of experiences designed to bring drinkers closer to tea culture. The Bo·ya Jasmine Tie Guan Yin Tea series, the newest addition to its Bo·ya Jasmine series. Its name comes from the legend of Boya, a musician whose playing was so deeply felt that only one person, a humble woodcutter named Ziqi. Alongside the new drink, Chagee has designed a small collection of tea-inspired merchandise. On May 21, Tea Blending Workshops will be held throughout the day. A pop-up is also being planned along Songwat Road.

Afternoon tea / The Peninsula Bangkok x The Peninsula Paris / Until July 31

The Peninsula Bangkok and The Peninsula Paris present an extraordinary cross-continental collaboration: "From Paris To Bangkok: An Afternoon Tea By Anne Coruble". Created by Coruble, executive pastry chef of The Peninsula Paris, in collaboration with Jimmy Boulay, executive pastry chef of The Peninsula Bangkok, the experience reflects a refined dialogue between two culinary worlds. The menu unfolds from delicate savoury expressions to more structured. At its centre is a signature pre-dessert of Lychee, puffed rice and cherry blossom, plated à la minute, offering both theatre and finesse. Complemented by locally inspired elements, including Thai tea scones, the experience presents a seamless conversation between Parisian craftsmanship and Bangkok’s vibrant culinary identity.

Seasonal highlights / Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok / Until July 31

Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok unveils a selection of seasonal dining experiences across its restaurants and bars until June 30. Mango lovers are invited to savour executive chef David Senia’s seasonal creations at The Dining Room. Local Thai mangoes are transformed into an array of sweet and savoury dishes on the buffet, including Som tum mamuang, Vietnamese mango and shrimp rolls, and Indian mango chicken masala. Enjoy Mango sticky rice and Mango cheesecake with a little twist. Until July 31, Erawan Tea Room collaborates with Err, created by the team behind Michelin-starred restaurant Bo.lan. The chef tasting menu is available for lunch, dinner and afternoon tea daily until July 31. A Tea Cocktail Dinner will be held on June 26 in collaboration with the Tea And Coffee Institute of Mae Fah Luang University. The dinner will highlight Thai tea and coffee through inventive dishes and tea-inspired cocktails. With chef Roberto Parentela back at the helm of the Italian kitchen, Salvia welcomes the season with "Estate In Tavola". The new menu features dishes such as Ham and melon, Hand-pulled pappardelle pasta with chanterelles, Veal with tuna sauce and the wood-fired summer pizza. Not to be missed are two sorbets made with prickly pear and watermelon. Bar @494 will be offering tapas and wines at special prices, while Gaston celebrates its third anniversary on May 29.  

Afternoon tea / St. Regis Bangkok / July 30

Experience the debut afternoon tea of executive pastry chef Nina Sandra Win, which is inspired by the European summer. La Riviera Afternoon Tea transports guests to the Mediterranean with delicate summer notes of lemon, peach, apricot and fig lifted by thyme, lavender and rosemary. Featured sweets are Lemon ice tea granita, Dark chocolate and lavender mousse, Pistachio and fig choux, and Peach and thyme tart, complemented by fresh savouries including Himalayan trout tartare, Smoked duck breast and Romanesco tartlet.

Golf escape / Le Méridien Chiang Rai

Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort has launched the "Golf Escape Package" with the signature "door-to-fairway" experience. Guests can focus entirely on their game while the resort manages all logistics, providing private transfers to and from Santiburi Golf Course. New collection / Minor Hotels

Minor Hotels announces its first Colbert Collection property in the UK: The WestDill Mayfair Hotel London, which opens in London in Q4 this year. With a prime location on Piccadilly, the five-star property will offer 50 guest rooms and suites across six floors, in addition to a restaurant and bar. With a corner positioning on Piccadilly and Albemarle Street, the building was formerly the NatWest bank and offices and is being converted to a hotel. 

Add-on experience / Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort 

Guests at Le Méridien Chiang Rai Resort can explore a sustainable coffee journey at Doi Tung at an extra cost. The 7.5-hour caffeine experience takes place in the highlands of Doi Tung, starting at Latitude 19, with a signature espresso from Doi Tung wild coffee beans. Guests are then transported to the high-altitude plantations of Doi Tung for a guided forest walk to learn secrets of "shade-grown coffee”. A lunch featuring authentic northern Thai cuisine at the plantation and a 30-minute coffee scrub and foot wrap at Parvati Spa caps off the day.

New designs / Ikea

Ikea Thailand has unveiled the first three designs from the latest Ikea PS 2026 collection. The pieces reflect a design concept that blends functionality with fun and creativity. Ahead of its full global reveal on May 13, the first look features an air-filled easy chair and a rocking bench from in-house designers Mikael Axelsson and Marta Krupińska, and a three-directional lamp from Rotterdam-based designer Lex Pott.
