Bonhams, one of the world's leading auction houses, will stage its first Bangkok auction preview at The Parlor, 9th floor of Park Hyatt Bangkok, Witthayu Road, on Thursday and Friday from 11am to 6pm.
In response to the sophisticated and rapidly growing community of Thai collectors, Bonhams is bringing a curated selection of exceptional timepieces and high jewellery to Bangkok ahead of its auctions in Hong Kong on Nov 22 and 23.
The two-day preview offers local collectors and connoisseurs an unprecedented opportunity to view the highlights up close and meet visiting specialists to discuss the pieces and the art of collecting.
It brings together horological innovations that celebrate mechanical mastery, bold design and limited-edition rarity. Highlights include a selection of Cartier timepieces reflecting the brand's evolution over the decades -- led by the revolutionary Cartier Crash Squelette from 2015 -- and a highly complicated vintage Patek Philippe pocket watch.
For the high jewellery selection, pieces from renowned maisons focus on rare coloured gemstones, anchored by a 4.12-carat unheated Burmese pigeon's blood ruby ring by Harry Winston.
Alongside pieces by Cartier and Van Cleef & Arpels, these works combine the natural rarity of exceptional stones with iconic design and refined craftsmanship.
There is no admission fee. Visit bonhams.com.
